Book a Consultation

Every client begins with a brief introductory call. This is how we make sure you’re in the right place before committing your time or money.

Step 1: Book a free introductory call.

This is a 15-minute conversation, no cost, no obligation. We’ll talk through your concerns, answer any questions, and figure out together whether Lightfull is the right fit. For children and adolescents, this call is with parents only.

This is especially helpful if you’re unsure whether you need therapy, an assessment, or both. You don’t need to have it figured out before you call.

A quick note on timing. I keep a small caseload, so I take on only a few new clients at a time, and the first opening is usually two to three weeks out. New client openings are limited through late September. If timing is a concern, say so in your booking note and I will be straight with you about what is realistic.

Step 2: Your first appointment.

After the introductory call, I’ll recommend the right next step based on your situation:

Your first session is a 2-hour comprehensive diagnostic interview (SGD 700, the same on any day of the week). This extended session gives us the time to thoroughly understand your history, current concerns, and what you’ve already tried, without rushing. By the end, you’ll have a clear sense of what therapy will look like, how often we’ll meet, and a preliminary plan for the work ahead.

If scheduling 2 hours is difficult, we can split the intake across two sessions. After the intake, sessions run 60 to 90 minutes depending on what the work needs that day, weekly or fortnightly, pro-rated at SGD 350 per hour.

For assessment clients

Psychometric assessments (ADHD, learning, cognitive, emotional/behavioural) begin with a first consultation (SGD 700, usually up to two hours), followed by dedicated testing sessions using standardised instruments (WISC, WAIS, CELF, BRIEF, and others selected for your referral question). Assessment is a separate service from therapy, with its own fee structure, see Fees for details.

What to bring.

For the introductory call, just bring your questions. For your first appointment, it’s helpful to have:

  • Any previous reports (psychological, educational, medical, or psychiatric)
  • A list of current medications
  • School reports or teacher feedback (for children and adolescents)
  • Your specific questions or goals for the work

Don’t worry if you don’t have all of this, we’ll work with what you have.
